This really resonated with me and I’m motivated to learn more about LittleBits.
What an interesting connection between “troublemakers” and “creators” that opens up many lines of thought.
I wasn’t a troublemaker but I knew plenty. Maybe some grew up to be entrepreneurs. Certainly some grew in to more trouble and ended up on the wrong side of the law (and sadly, at least one even the wrong side of life).
Imagine how the outcomes would change if troublemakers were embraced differently and supported accordingly — Obviously the goal of your program.
As someone who’s helped grow startup companies, I know how critical it is to hire people that can start things with little instruction and in a swamp of ambiguity. (In fact I just published a post on that.)
I might even consider “troublemaker” a prerequisite on new hire requests going forward 😄
