Thanks Layla. Over the years I've had similar thoughts across different platforms - I've completely de-invested in Instagram and Facebook for a number of years now, for example. It was purely a waste of my productive time. Sometimes I get disillusioned with Medium - or probably just writing online to be more accurate - hence often gone a year without posting. As long as you focus on the fact you love what you're writing about, then the time you invest is worth it.
